Hi, I'm Nanja Smith, founder of Nscape Design. I'm South African born, now based in Texas, and I've spent more than 17 years helping clients bring landscape projects to life through professional plans, visualizations, HOA packages, and construction-ready documentation.

I started Nscape Design because I believe great design comes from understanding how projects are actually built. Rather than working through layers of project managers and account representatives, you'll work directly with me from start to finish. Whether it's a small residential project, a multi-lot development, or overflow production support for a contractor, my goal is to make the process straightforward and enjoyable.

When I'm not designing landscapes, you'll usually find me working in my own garden, spending time with my husband, keeping an eye on our chickens, or being supervised by our cats. I believe the best landscape designers are people who genuinely enjoy being outdoors and working with plants—not just drawing them on a screen
